Ukraine Relief Project

Central Christian Church is partnering with Kids Around the World raise funds, pack, and deliver 15,000 meals to people fleeing the war in Ukraine.  We need help funding this project and packing the meals.

Contribute to Central Christian Church's Ukraine Relief project.

We are seeking to raise at least $4,550 to cover the cost of 15,000 meals for Ukrainian war refugees. The meals consist of beans and lentils which can be prepared under harsh conditions by adding water.  By doing these meals in bulk each serving costs around $.30.  Kid's Around the World has a supply chain and international partners who can help get these meals to refugees in countries neighboring Ukraine and into Ukraine itself.  All contributions that exceed our goal of $4,550 will go toward additional meals.

One hundred percent of the funds coming into this account will go toward the cost of this project.  If you would like to contribute a tax deductible gift to this project click here to access Central's Church Center giving app. Enter the amount that you would like to give  and in the pulldown menu in the box that says "General" scroll down and select Ukraine Relief Project.   A gift of $100 will provide approximately 300 meals.

Help Pack Meals on May 22

We would also love to have your help packing meals on Sunday, May 22.  This project will take place as the primary part of our morning worship service at 10:30.  We will meet in the sanctuary for a brief time of worship and prayer for UKraine and then go to the gym to pack the meals.  That project will take approximately 2 hours.  You may use the form below to register as a volunteer.  We will email a reminder to all volunteers the week before the event.
